Staying with my z10. Gonna try and work getting wife on z30. She is annoyed. Went from torch to sg3 because of screen size. Now she glares at me every time she plays with my phone.

I just posted a thread on another part of the forum saying something about a website that's pretty much acts like an app.

I checked into 8tracks mobile website, and just the way they layed out the user interface, you would forget that you are doing this on a browser.

When you are listening to a song, press the "i" for information and watch how the page flips so smoothly.

All the animation is so smooth. I'm honestly really impressed. I think it's using html5. I do hope more web programmers start taking advantage of this tech.

The only thing BlackBerry needs to do is continue on improving the Android Runtime and make it easy to port Android apps. Point and click would be awesome so Android developers can push out a BlackBerry app in seconds.

Maybe release a plugin for Android programming tools so developers know the option is there...

I understand all this "android apps work on BB10". But to be honest I don't like em. Yes I will cope with them as a temporary solution. But native apps is the way to go. They look so much better and sleeker imo.

I will be sticking with my Z10 because I just got it back in June. Not time for an upgrade. The Z30 has some interesting upgrades and should be a nice addition to the stable of BB10 devices. With that being said, my Z10 running 10.2.0.1725 does everything I need it to do. This is a stable OS, and running the unlocked android runtime means that the android apps I do have running really work well. No complaints from me. But congratulations to all those who are getting the Z30.

as much as i love my z10.... and i really do having it since launch day i cant seem to make it even half my work day before needing a charge i would really like the z30 simply and only due to its battery size.

My battery life on the latest 10.2 leak is fine. I am very happy with my Z10 and won't be changing to the Z30.

Love my Z10. Bigger screen on Z30 tempting but don't think I'll upgrade early. Hoping 10.2 gives a boost to the app selection on BB10 with the compatibility with newer versions of Android. I know we prefer native apps, but the more apps we can get the better it looks for BB10, the more people will buy BB10 phones and then maybe convince more developers to write native apps.

Definitely happy the Z30 is being launched- regardless of what is happening with the company. My Z10 is hot. So, I have no need for a big brother device at this time.
