Ok maybe I'm just not smart but when I add a friend on Facebook and follow someone on twitter I just assumed they would automatically be in my contacts list but they aren't. Am I doing it wrong?

Just give it a while, it takes an hour or so for them to sync into your contacts. It is automatic, though.

Google contacts works great for wireless synchronization between devices, using the routing diagram cloud icon (cough) I mean internet.

I reloaded my Z10 as a factory reset phone because it needs to relearn my typing with my OtterBox and all of my contacts updated immediately.

There is no way to manually sync contacts with Facebook and Twitter. You would just have to be patient

Forget it - with an Otterbox Defender, you're going to waste a lot of time trying to type...I was given one at no cost, used it for a day and tossed it. My 9900 has the Commuter, which was a great little case, but the Defender, especially on a touch screen, is useless, for me anyway.
