I use a Z10 and a Q10. The Q is a workhorse. The keyboard lets you bang out a novel with little issue and the battery is great. The Z is a nice size for a slab, allowing one handed use, a nice screen size, fits great however you'll carry it, but the battery is woefully inadequate. I carry a 2nd battery and sometimes, on a very long day (say 18+ hours of frequent use), I'm looking for a charger to recharge one of the batteries.

I agree with your points. But what bothers me the most is the sealed in battery.

My mother's one year old Z30 just ran out of the warranty. And she is starting to notice degradation in the battery life. And neither my mother and I am an expert who could take the phone apart just to switch the battery.

Whereas with my Z10, it took me 10 seconds to switch out a degraded battery that cannot hold a charge.

It's so strange for me to hear people with degraded batteries. I have had several phones over the years and never had a defective battery.

The battery life on my Sony isn't as good as day one but that's more to do with the OS than the battery as all my friends with the same phone have the same problem.

My BlackBerry meanwhile same bad battery life as day one, no better no worse lol.

I'm still in love with my (white) z10!
At Christmas we bought 2 Z30's but that phone was too big for me, and I prefer the look and build and the screen of my z10.
I'm worried about the day when it's going to give me issues and want to grab myself another white one, I also have the battery bundle! Which is a godsend.
My contract is up in march, which in the past has been when my previous phones have died, but they weren't blackberry's so we'll see what happens!!

    Love this thing...

I had the classic for a while & went back to the z10. It started with no dt issues and slowly got worse and worse with the dt. I love the z10 and 10.3.2 runs much smoother on the the z10 then it did on my classic. Same specs I know. But for whatever reason, smoother and faster. Enjoy the z10

I really wish BlackBerry had made their batteries on the newer phones removable like the Z10. A few years down the road I'll probably still be using my passport and z30 but will at one point have to do surgery on these to replace batteries.
