So I hope I don't sound too ignorant as the Z10 will be my 4th BB, and I am the only one left at work with one now (9650). I had read that the @blackberry.net emails will be forwarded for a year (if you want) because BIS is going away. If personal emails will no longer use BIS what will they use? will it be whatever every other platform uses? Will BB still have the best email? What will happen with older devices? My Z10 on VZW will be here on the 29th my accessories from CB will be here before thatso I am not going anywhere.....just curious.

Bis is blackberry Internet service no? Anywho.... This is the strange thing.

I'm on tmobile on my z10 and it still shows the bis symbol even thought I don't have the blackberry service. Also noticed I get the usual stall when you hit enter on a web address its like a 1second thing and then a web page loads.

Weird.

Email will use the same protocols as the other phones, pop, imap, imap idle, and activesync.
