Hi guys, ok right now I'm very worried and scared. I installed the new leak last night but did not do the security wipe. Everything was going great! Until the unlock screen wasn't showing up so I did a restart(not a battery pull). But now my phone has been stuck on the BlackBerry name for 13 hours. I haven't done a battery pull because of the threads I've read. Someone please help urgently

A battery pull or just hold the up and down volume key until it resets itself. If it doesn't work, then you should restore your OS

i never did a security wipe when i installed the leak and mine was fine but as people said battery pull you cant do much more damage to the software if it wont even boot so give it ago or reinstall the leak

OK, to start with, I'm not an expert ....
How did you restart? I have been reading that there is a "hard reboot" by holding down the 2 volume keys..beyond the screen shot and then holding for an additional 20 seconds..past the blackberry logo, until the blue restart square...i know this is the process as I just did it on mine...not to fix an issue, but in order to know how it was done...

I would not do a battery pull without clearer instructions....someone on here ( maybe kris) had posted full instructions yesterday on how to do this and when to reinstall the battery...

In this situation, when all other options are exhausted, than yes a battery pull can be done. With that there is always a risk. However it seemed to work out in this case
