    Just got a software update notification for update 10.1.2014 what is the difference and shouldn't the "27" be ahead of the "20"...

    I got the same update notification on my phone..... Im a bit confused as well. I think Ill hold off a bit... Mine says it is 65MB what about yours?

    2014 is a bigger number than 273? I think that's how it works, Not sure though. It's not 2730. It's just 273 so 2014 is the bigger number.

    Software updates don't work as you might think traditionally 2014 is higher than 273. Update now lol! I just did, 64mb update as well. They wouldn't push outdated software.. even if they did by accident, the Z10 would notice it's version number is higher and just never notify you of an update because there is "none".

    Don't confuse the Software Release number with the OS version.

    10.1.0.273 is a software release that includes OS version 10.1.0.1720.

    The number you referred to must be an updated OS. 10.1.0.2014 > 10.1.0.1720.
