without the password you can't get into the app, i'm afraid.

There was a thread on here recently where if you had a backup on your computer and the bbid and password, there's software to retrieve your escrow key to access Password Keeper without your master password. I think it was elcomsoft and likely payware.

Search for "escrow" to find the thread in the last month or so.

Also I believe if worst comes to worst you can uninstall it and reinstall and start fresh, you will of course loose all the data.

I have never set up a "password" for password keeper but it is asking me for a password. How can I know what it is?

It you have enabled cloud back up made available in a recent update, you should be able to delete it, reinstall and restore from the cloud with your BBID. If not don't bother with the "escrow" key solution, it needs the new software version.
