I can't receive picture messages (MMS)

I can't receive picture messages (MMS) on my new Z10. Anyone have any idea why? Is it a phone problem or a carrier problem?

works for me ...just keep trying...there were a few drops owing to low lte at first.

Thanks for the help. It was a carrier problem. FYI to anying with Virgin in Canada, you need to turn off your wifi connection to receive picture and video messages (MMS). Not sure if this is the same for BBM.

I had the same problem with virgin, it happened because my data was off, as soon as your data is on you'll receive them with no problem, I called the customer service and they told me it was blackberry's fault and didn't give me a solution, so I just figured it out myself.

Good to hear that you got it sorted, although that does seem like an odd carrier inability.

I've had a similar issue and also with sending messages. 3 restarts later it all worked.

Here's the latest update from BlackBerry technical support:

"I just called and left you a voice mail regarding the MMS issue on your Z10 device. The seniors have reproduced it and the issue is going to be resolved in a future software update of 10.1. I do not have a release date for the software release but I would expect to see it around the time the Q10 comes out."
