Don't think that will help much. BlackBerry will be selling the phones at a loss. From admin to logistics, they would probably lose money on each sale of the phone. They're better off just destroying all their existing inventory of phones, get the tax credit and start fresh with something that's more revolutionary as opposed to just playing catch up.

Being that I pay retail for all my devices (Forget Contracts and Carrier Branded Devices), I get my satisfaction by having a phone that's not popular. In other words, I'm not the average consumer.

I am the same. It's always in my hand all the time. It's sad that a lot of people don't know about it much but the fact that I can leave it on a table and my family and friends can't open it or navigate it is just perfect. They look at the phone and find no buttons and after hitting the screen and power button they end up giving up. The best part is watching someone trying to go to the home screen while in an app. When the device is locked then people finally see the arrows at the bottom telling them to swipe up. When you teach someone how to use then sit back and watch their mind being blown.

Love mine I always buy my phone no contract no lock. I like this phone so munch I'll buy it again if it get stolen or breaks, my wife's S3 or my son IPhone 5 just get them the newest 2 year contract phone, unless they want a BlackBerry Z...

Because the masses don't care about getting stuff done. The masses don't have 5 email accounts synced to their phone and don't feel a need to answer important emails within minutes of their receipt.

Of course they do it well, just not as well. 10.2 has the priority hub and colour coding for different accounts. Most users couldn't care less about that kind of thing, and that's why BlackBerry is not special for them, it's just another phone in a sea of smartphones.
