Downloaded the apk from Google Play Store, converted the APK to a BAR file and then sideloaded it on the phone.

I am running OS leak 10.2.0.1371. If you head over to the Android Apps threads you will see it's a simple process. I also got vudu to work as well.

Yes! I didn't even think to sideload this. Looks like I have some tinkering to do.

I side loaded it too using the latest android player release and 10.2. Works great but useless during the summer. Waiting for shows to start back up.

How did you get it working. I tried converting/ sideloading abt 5 different builds of the apk

Did you sideload the android player that came out a week or two ago? I never tried loading the app until after I had sideloaded it so I don't know if it would have worked before or not. I'm currently running Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1371.

No changes to the android player. I just have 10.2.0.1371 installed.

Thanks for that! I have 10.2.0.1047 installed. I did everything you did except my OS version is a little dated. I'm going to try the new Jelly Bean runtime this evening to see if that works. if it doesn't, I might go for the new 10.2.0.200 that I saw yesterday. Wish me luck.

I may be wrong but 1371 has an unlocked runtime so you can run android apps without a debug token. Some apps I have running have been converted but some are not like Hulu.

I was considering upgrading the runtime but decided not to as what I have is currently working and I don't mind the bar.

Only certain apks work because the apks are supported device specific. A working apk link is included in the thread linked above.
