Is there anyway to watch Hulu Plus on the Z10 or PlayBook? I've tried various browsers with no luck.

No, Hulu does not support BlackBerry. Maybe we should start a boycott...

I've had no luck either... other than having another device do the streaming and then connect to it.

At first Hulu was against mobile devices of all types and went to great lengths to block them. Now they allow just about any device... except for Blackberries.

Let them know you want it!

But don't go and cancel your subscription or boycott them.... at this point there are two few users in their target audience, and that is why they don't have it. Just try from time to time to connect with you BB.

Well here's the response I just received -

    Hi Christopher,

Thank you for your email. You're not alone - we've gotten lots of requests for Hulu Plus on the Blackberry . I'm afraid I have not heard anything about Hulu Plus supporting Blackberry at this time. That said, we are continually evaluating new technologies - keeping a close eye on the mobile landscape - and will be adding more devices based on user demand.

I've been wanting a Hulu app for the longest. I just saw this Splashtop app in BlackBerry World. Any insight on how it works specifically? Does my computer have to be constantly running? Do I need my phone and computer on the same network in order to access Hulu?

Yes it's like an RDP / VNC (logs you into your PC as if you were there) connection.

But it also plays videos and audio and streams it to your device quite well.

When inside the house it's no big deal. But outside your house it involves $$$ or complex solutions and your Internet speed becomes a factor.

Ya splashtop I use for many reasons to access invoices and stuff on my Laptop. Yes my laptop is on but in standby mode and a small splashtop program runs in the background like blackberry link does. Before you go and download it though, it's incredibly difficult to use the little screen for a desktop pc. You constantly have to zoom out and zoom in to touch buttons because fingers are half the size of the desktop in normal view. If you want to watch videos and stuff this product does as it says and turns your phone into your computer monitor. But the overall technology involved is still in its infancy so if you accept that 'it is what it is' the app is amazing.

It runs like a ddns if you know what that means if not Google it, so there's nothing you have to setup to access from outside your network, although it is spotty and doesn't connect 100% of the time more like 90%.

    Any other questions?

I have it converted and installed.

Does run but doesn't play video for me.

I'm in Canada though and use a DNS to allow hull plus and US netflix. So that might be why.

They can save money with app development, by just un blocking the website. Seems that the browser will run it just fine. At least Amazon Prime runs perfect on the PlayBook, and Z10.

The Wii U can uses Hulu so I doubt licensing is a problem.
