I have tried several ways to remove Google Talk from the Hub List including doing the Hub reset to no avail. It is one thing not to be able to re-order but you can't even delete something from the list. I want to keep the app but do not want it in the hub

Did you select the the three dots, then hub management and turn off google talk from showing?

That is how you get to Hub Management - so yup it is off. First thing I did. I also exprimented by turning other things off - nothing. If it is installed it stays on the list no matter what

    This is the confusion...

Turning something off from the hub removes it from the consolidated hub view at the top, it does NOT remove it from your list of message services they are different things.

I do however agree that I would like the option to remove a couple of the ones in that list.. maybe they will bring that out, but to be honest, that central place for all things messaging is key to the platform, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did not give us that option. For 3rd party apps (BBM) etc, there should be an option in those to not have them displayed IMHO
