I'm trying to figure out how many contact my pos Z10 has deleted, and I need to compare the total number of contacts in my phone vs my gmail contacts on the web.
I swear I used to be able to see that number but I can't figure out where.
    Thanks in advance

Pull down when in Contacts or even when in a sub-group. At the top it will show the number.

I see the mistake I was making. I was swiping down from the top which gives you settings.
Pulling down from mid screen shows the total.
I was over thinking it. Thanks
