Used unlock code from cellunlocker and it worked first thing but APN settings are greyed out and defaulted to Telus. Not sure what will happen when I change sim cards. Has anyone used a different sim card with success on data.

I got 2 codes from them that did not work

pretty sure APN settings populates itself depends on what sim card you put in. problem is a lot of people arent able to unlock their phones right now

Unlocked my Telus Z10 using code from cellunlocker.net and now using it with my AT&T account while I'm back in the US. The IMEI from the phone was not able to be register on my account at AT&T so they used one of their Android phone's IMEI and changed the last digit and once that was done it worked fine. (I previously had a Torch 9800 and they couldn't switch me from the BlackBerry data plan to a regular data plan without updating my IMEI)

On a side note they were impressed with the look and feel of the phone and couldn't believe how fast it was.

Two people reporting successful Telus z10 unlocks in last 24 hours and both from cell unlocked.net

Any more success or failures please share. I'm getting mine that I ordered on Monday and want to place order with a site with most success. Crackberry also added Telus back to list but mention high failure rate.. Not sure what this high failure rate is though..

We've now been unlocking 90% of telus/Koodo Z10 devices.

There are still a few that come back with non working codes which are refunded(with video or picture proof) if that is the case

Would you know if you have a valid code if you have the IMEI, or the validity can be checked only after it has been entered on device?

Why do you want it unlocked? What are the pros and cons of unlocking your phone? I'm also with Telus.
