Hi,
With all other usb devices I get the option to disconnect the device before I remove it from my computer, you are supposed to do this to avoid corruption.

I don't get any options to do this with the z10?

It also seems a bit flaky concerning asking for my password when docked, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it does ask even when my phone isn't connected. Anyone else get this?

HI!
If it's asking for the password, it means you have one on there correct? It will do that when you are in wireless range of a connect laptop of PC let's say at work or at home. You have to enable the password to connect. Mine does that when I lay it on the table near my laptop at home. It pops up the password box. even if I haven't asked it to connect, it still does.

Also, as far as undocking, I just pull out the cable. I haven't yet found a way to eject gracefully from being wired.

Thanks for the reply. I don't allow my phone to access wirelessly although it is on the same network so I am not sure it is this causing it.

I am using a password as I believed this would stop anyone accessing the data on my phone via a PC.

You should be using Ubuntu Linux, for example, and the graceful unmount option is available within the file manager on the computer.
