How to tag people in Facebook photos?
Hi... not long had the z10 & I want to know how I tag people in pictures / statuses on facebook??? Can anyone help me... and please please say I can do it through the app and jot have to go to my browser and do it through the main site!
Also has anybody got an update on whatsapp??? - 02-18-2013, 05:25 AM #2
Whenever I have used the facebook app on the Z10, when you write a status or check in, there is a little symbol with a person and a plus (+) sign. Click this to search for the friends which you want to tag. It's the first 'button' under where you write the status.
And no update on WhatsApp, nobody knows until it arrives! - 02-20-2013, 04:54 AM

Thanks for this. I can see that now, although it's still missing if you want to tag people in a comment on the status, if you get what I mean?!? Another quick one about facebook... when your messaging someone how can you let the conversation flow without having to keep going in & out of the inbox?

FB messages have been bothering me, too. Both on the browser, the app and Hub, there is an unacceptable delay in "instant" messaging. The old FB app had chat built in, as well as messages, and it was very useful in the give & take of regular conversation.
Also with the photos, I've noticed you can no longer submit a photo you've taken to a particular album, it all goes into Mobile Photos. This sucks because I have a folder for artwork I take with my phone, and can no longer direct it there (nor move it afterwards). - 02-20-2013, 08:10 AM

Hopefully they'll update the Facebook app to include all the bells and whistles of the BBOS version and then some. I enjoyed being able to tag people in pictures but still felt the overall app was limited by the OS. Shouldn't be a problem going forward, just need to give the developers some time to focus on social aspects once they get the major BB10 performance issues ironed out.

Several times I have tried using the Facebook app (Bold 9650) but I always end up going back to the browser and the mobile site. First it was not being to like a comment, and now the filters I set up to avoid messages from games don't work in the FB client. Is anyone using FB through the browser ? It would be nice to know that option works on BB10.

No there isn't a chat option.. all you can do is keep going in & out of your inbox, as you can imagine this is slightly annoying! I've come from the Samsung galaxy and really starting to regret it now. It seems the z10 isn't really designed for the average mobile user. it hasn't got any of the game apps where I can play against friends nor whatsapp, nobody has BBM anymore because before this phone blackberry's were a thing of the past! I'm hoping it improves massively as I'm stuck in a contract for 2yrs now

I have the same problem. I "checked in" to a restaurant using the Facebook app and tried to take a picture to load up with the check in. The photo always rotates 90 degrees counter-clockwise. I tried to "fool" the app by turning the phone clockwise 90 degrees and that didn't work. Any workaround until they fix this?
