I was wondering how you do this I've enabled the media share options and for the PS3 device but when I go search for it I can't find the device to play on all it says is "No devices available to play on." the BlackBerry Z10 has appeared on music on my PS3 but it would be a real pain to manually search through 789 songs for the song I want, is there anyway to get it to appear on the Z10?

I've had the same issue, I have both a Sony blu ray player and a ps3 and the two handle streaming media differently. On the ps3 you can't click "play on" and play, as far as I know, you have to use the xmb to navigate to the artist/album/song you want (same goes for pictures and videos).

On the root of your Z10, make a folder named 'MUSIC' (without quotes) and transfer your music there. If that doesn't work, make a folder named 'PS3' (without quotes) and in that, a folder named 'MUSIC' (without quotes).

The PS3 folder must go in the root of your Z10, btw

If it helps when I go to check which devices to enable my ps3 comes as 'unknown device' followed with the ip address of it

I didn't have to do any of this to get it to work. As long as the device is checked on the devices to share media with then you can easily navigate to the folders and files on your Z10 from the ps3 xmb.
