It's perfect if they can roll out next devices so fast ! It will help lower the prices of older devices making them more affordable, and newer technologies will find their way into a BlackBerry handset faster. It's better that than not having anything new.

Love the device, hate the battery life. I'm also not very happy with AT&T dragging their feet on updated OS releases. Not being able to get soundhound because of the carrier is maddening, but that's AT&T, not the device. I'm also not too crazy about the lack of certain apps, but really....I don;t regret getting the Z10. The device is great, love the keyboard and the peek feature is not to be underestimated. Battery life stinks in general so if I have any real complaint, that would be it. The rest of my complaints are directed at AT&T and the app developers who are sitting around with their arms crossed waiting on the weather to change.

Well, I will say wait if you are not in a rush I have Z 10 and I have to say I have been very loyal to BlackBerry even throughout years of people abandoning BlackBerry. Yet, I cannot seem to be able to get any of the important apps I need or liked from older blackberry device. They just announced sound hound which is suppose to be like Shazam and they clearly stated it was made for Os 10 Z10 and Q10 when I went on to hub to down load because I really missed Shazam it says Sound hound is not available for Z10. :/Even though they claim it is available and made for Os 10 devices. I have been faithful but now really beginning to wonder if I made the right choice this time around. To many false promises. Skype still not available for Z10. Still no app to be able to transfer contacts and data wireless like buddy guard app which once again cannot get on Z10. Which I will add was the reason I lost many of my old contacts and information. Frustrated! Maybe, I have to have leaked OS upgrade to get some of these apps maybe they forgit to mention that detail.

I think in the end... he couldn't accept that it was better than his iPhone 5, so he kept it. fell in love with the phone... but now for some reason he is too jealous to share this fabulous experience with his friends when BBM goes cross platform !

Well, we should REALLY ask current iPhone 5 buyers how they feel, knowing that iPhone 6 will get announced "soon," that iPhone 7 is already in development, and iPhone 8 is already on the drawing board.

Ditto for all Droid phones (regardless of vendor), as well as ANY current model year NEW car or truck, all currently available flatscreen TVs and pretty much ANYTHING you can buy that changes with the calendar or new technology developments.

Just my 2 cents' worth from this penniless country.

Love my Z10. No regrets at all. Just wish VZW would update the software already!

Only slight regret I do have(and it's not really a regret) is that if the Q10 came out the same day, I may have jumped on that instead(but on the other hand I am still loving the Z10, just more curious about the Q10-such a beautiful device).

I love my z10 as my primary communications device and even with the hassles I have put up with over the last two months with the restart issues during phone calls and other quirks, I am staying with the Blackberry platform.

My issues is with the Carriers and Blackberry dragging their *** getting these updates out to us folks here in the USA. I don't care that Blackberry passed it off on the carrier. They are still responsible for supporting this product and in my eyes, BOTH Blackberry and the Carriers are to blame for this lack of progress in releasing the 10.1 update.

I'm very disappointed with this device, trying to sell it ASAP... I mainly disappointed because BBM will be available cross-platform. That was one of the main reasons I even bought the Z10 in the first place!

Not me. I bought it for security and the OS/hardware features. Android isn't secure and iOS doesn't have things like HDMI and NFC.
