First you would have to define "Moderate " use as what I think moderate is, someone might call light. But I do get a sufficient battery time for what I do.

I left for work at 7am my time with the battery at around 85%. I have used it moderately. Made a few calls, some texts, played probably 10 or so games of Beach Buggy Blitz (which is pretty graphically intensive I'd say) on my breaks, watched 3 or 4 videos on YouTube, and have been on CB quite a bit reading and making a few posts. Also checking FB & Twitter throughout the day. It's now 6:30pm my time and my battery is at 20%

Roughly 14 hours - take it off the charger in the morning and pop it on at night - mostly phone, email and CB reading, downloading some apps today as well...

It varies and depends on many factors, not just only the usage.
- are you on wifi, 3g or lte?
- what's kind of app are you using?
- screen brightness? Notification mode?
- any accessories like holster, etc?

My usage and settings are:
- wifi on both at home and work (90%, 10% for travelling with 3g only)
- no active frame opened, screen at 30-40% bright
- 30 emails/texts, 1 active bbm group with Led notification only and 3-4 regular contacts on bbm.
- whatsapp with my family
- no games no youtube
- 8-10 phone calls
- cb and Web browsing less than 1 hour.

Pretty basic and it easily lasts from 7 am to 10pm with overnight charge

Yesterday I got 12 hours and I was using it practically the whole day with wifi on, blue tooth to transfer some pictures from my laptop, BBM, twitter, texting, and a bunch of emails. I also watched one 3 minute YouTube video.

Today I got 8 hours and I've used it less, which is weird to me.

I'm on a 4G network and my screen back light is at its lowest. Location, blue tooth, nfc off.

Before upgrade 8 hours. After upgrade 12-14 hours of moderate to heavy use. Meaning...About 200+ bbm and whatsapp . Sending About 10 emails X 5-8 calls and a lot of CB and BlackBerry world browsing.
4G and wig I running all the time.

I bought the extra battery and I haven't used it once yet...

16 hours on average.

I have the display set pretty low. I don't allow gestures when display is off (wake by pressing the button), and I set it to HSPA+...LTE coverage is limited in my area so I think it was constantly looking contributing to battery drain.

I get no more than four hours of use from the z10 right now, but my usage is near constant. My device is almost is always doing something, even if only playing music while I am working.

In addition, I don't like dimming the screen, nor disabling bluetooth and nfc and the playbook bridge is always active.

My torch and curve both rendered around the same battery life from full to dead so I'm not too fussed. I keep a spare battery just in case, but I am fully confident in the device that if I NEEDED 16 hours from it, i could get it.

I have the brightness at approximately 75%, wifi was off from 7 to 4, LTE is off. I have Whatsapp and BB Travel. I have it in a holster, and allow gestures while locked is set to off.

About 12 hours. One or two short calls a day. Screen brightness on 75% with 30 second timeout

No LTE in my area so I am on 4G but have not turned anything off in the Network Settings.

NFC is off and so is Bluetooth. I run connected to Wifi almost all the time at work and at home.

Tonnes of ActiveSync mail, calendar updates and contact sync. Four other POP accounts setup for 15 minute sync.

Tonne of texts and BBMs each day.

I also run no live tiles usually.

Every Friday I listen to a few hours of Podcasts while on the road and using Waze satnav/gps app in that case I get about 9 hours.

The spare battery kit is a fantastic accessory.

I'd get 9-10 hrs. LTE off. Never ever ever got one full day without plugging it in at least once even for A minimum quick 15 min charge

Between 16 to 18 hours on a normal day. That incorporates around an hour on the phone, some lite Web surfing and of course my daily dose of Crackberry.

Leave for work at 6:30am
Listen to music over bluetooth in the car (20 mins each way).
One hour worth of apps and Web browsing (two 15 min breaks and a 30 min lunch) CB, Facebook, Twitter, BBM, Youtube
1.5 hrs of listening to music while working out
30-45 mins of apps and Web browsing before bed
Receive approx. 10-20 emails a day (only make short replies to a couple)
Always on - wifi, bluetooth, LTE, screen at 50%
Notifications on vibrate during the day and on normal after 3pm
In bed by midnight, battery at 78% (unless my wife plays Smiley's Pop while watching Duck Dynasty, then we're down to 54%)

I got roughly 12 today before the battery was reporting less than 10-percent and I reached for my spare. LTE on, 100-percent screen brightness, four active frames running including AccuWeather, five email accounts (two non-push), quite a few text messages fired off, a bit of light web browsing and app usage (mainly news apps and CB10). Also played a few short minutes of Jetpack Joyride while waiting for something early in the day. All-in-all, some pretty exemplary battery life. Was much worse before the OS update a few weeks back.

My first day has been non stop usage, but with that I did a full charge and with heavy heavy usage sitting at 30% after almost 5 hours. Tomorrow will be closer to normal day will follow status.

I consider myself a heavy user as I use my phone at work and do 40+ emails a day multiple phone calls constantly texting and my battery does me 8-4 and isn't ever dead mind you this is hspa+ not LTE.

However the sexy fast boot time for the Z10 highly highly highly recommend everyone buy the spare battery charging bundle.

I use one battery for my work day and then as soon as I am off I pop in a new one for "Play Time" its great heading out for dinner or drinks with a 100% charge and knowing you are ready for anything
