Just curious how long the device will run from 1% battery, it's been almost 40mins or more and I've not been able to power this out. Am impressed.

Try not to let it die... Lithium Ion batteries should not hit rock bottom, as it can impact future charges.

Your Li-Ion battery probably has a safety feature built into it so it will never really drop so low that you'll hurt it (even when your phone finally shuts off).

Thank you all. Well, shortly after I posted it shut down with a notice of "Device Shutting Down" or something similar.

Yes, I am aware I shouldn't let it zero out probably won't be doing this regularly. Am on charger now.

Battery life overall is pretty good so far with my usage. Am on Verizon's 2039 update.

    Best.

The lowest I've let mine get is 19%, and that was by accident. It's definitely not an experiment I would want to run!

If it drops to 0% and keeps running, you need to calibrate the battery!

    To Calibrate:
    1. Fully charge battery.
    2. Run phone until it shuts down on it's own.
    3. Fully charge battery again.
This process tells the phone what the batteries current perimeters are. As a battery ages, the characteristics change which will throw off the battery meter.

Only calibrate every 3-months or so since it's NOT good to run a Li-ion battery that low.
If you read up on it, Li-ion batteries last the longest and perform best when when charged to 98-99% and only run down to 50-75% before recharging again.
I know... this sounds crazy, but testing proves it!
