I am running 10.2.1.1925 finally. I was playing music on one of the apps. My device is set to lock after 2 minutes and I have turned the option of allowing apps to extend password lock time to on. The problem is it plays the whole song and then I have to go back swipe and enter the password and then it plays the next song in the playlist. Is there a way to still have a 2 minute lock time and have songs play in the playlist without having to enter the password again?

what is the app you're using ?
(testing with stock app, will tell in 2:54 or such )

Edit : I confirm stock music app continues playing the (random) list while locked. So, probably app related ... Let us know !

Reading the comments on that page, it seems as if I'm not the only one facing this problem. It's app related.
