What do you use it for and how?
I've never used it but it seems like a pretty nifty feature.

I use it to share YouTube links with friends and family. It a great feature to have because it can enable so many ways to communicate.

I like to use NFC to share photos. Just last night I showed my daughter a cool photo I took while hiking last week and she wanted a copy. We just held our Z10's back to back for a second and boom, the picture transfer starts automatically.

Where do you folks find the tags. I had ordered some to test/play with my 9930 and never could get it to recognize the tags. Now, as I have search high and low, I canNOT find the darn things to test/play with the Z10.

Recommendations on shop and type would be helpful as maybe that last batch were not the right types!

Yeah they need to be specific tags. I have some left from my Bold which I ought to get some use of.

I usually transfer files. Yesterday I transferred 60 songs I bought. I couldn't seem to download them from 7digital via my Q10 browser (maybe my leaked OS?) so download them onto a friends Z10 then NFC'd them to my Q10.

Yes, those are the ones that I purchased (and now canNOT find!!!). I guess I will reorder since they have free shipping anyway. When they arrive I will then find the ones that are now missing!

Good thing, not necessarily the only thing to do that, but super fast and easy

I use a tag on my desk to launch a hotspot so I can access sites blocked by my employer.

I pair my Z10 with my Sony SBH20 headset and Nokia Play 360 speakers using NFC. I also use it sometimes to send and receive pictures from my girlfriend's Nokia N9.

Whoops, missed this. Never did get it working on the 9930. It might have been the phone, the tags or me. I even got Verizon to ship me a new battery cover where the antenna was located - NOPE.

New tags should be here in the next day or two.

Tags are working for the Z10 (but the new tags did not work for the 9930.) And that's more than I can say for the Fed Government - roads and resorts closed in Olympic National Park!

Open the smart tags app and you can make it do all kinds of stuff. You can make it turn on airplane mode, turn on or off wifi, bluetooth, stuff like that. Have your contact info as a tag and bump it to people quickly. It's a nifty feature that more people should have...
