    reception in my new flat isnt great on 3g so i want to be able to switch to 2g. I cant see the option to do this. Im on EE/orange in the UK.

    any help appreicated, there only seems to be options for 3g/4g

    I understand some people might have different option for this based on their carrier but for me it is:

    Settings>Network Connections>Mobile Network>Network Technology:
    (options available for me are)
    -LTE/HSPA+/UMTS/GSM
    -HSPA+/UMTS/GSM
    -LTE/HSPA+/UMTS
    -HSPA+/UMTS
    -GSM

    I'm on ee. go to settings, network connections click on mobile network ee. Go down to network mode there is an option of 3g -2g there is no option for just 2g. Hope this helps

    This feature will be carrier dependent and some carriers like AT&T will have BB block this option, in their OS, as they have in the past.
