I've noticed this is still happening...had the z10 since release, and I thought 10.1 fixed a lot of those initial contact bugs but I'm finding when I add a new contact directly to the phone (not through Gmail or outlook or any other means), sometimes, all of a sudden it won't be there anymore.

Never sure how or why or when it happens, just notice that random contacts sometimes dissappear.

Love this phone, want this fixed.

Any ideas? Sorry if this has already been solved in another thread, please advise if there's a quick fix for this.

I share the contact to myself with a text message.

Then I open the 'texted' contact and click save as a new contact.

Then I delete the original after I make sure the new one is there and synced with all other links.

Don't know why this works, just stumbled upon it after texting myself some contacts from another phone.

Maybe it will work for you too?
