I don't believe it can be done. Not app menus or apps can support white or black themes.

Works (and is default on Q10 and Z30) because it has an (AM)OLED display. The dark theme saves battery life on such screens. The Z10 has an LCD display and it doesn't matter whether the theme is light or dark. Hope they'll implement the option tho, just like they did in BBM, Calender, Contacts etc. So as of currently, the option isn't available

The Hub is currently white on any model BB10 device if that's what you meant by "BB main menu."
There's a rumour that the upcoming OS 10.3.1 release in fall may bring a Dark Theme option to Hub.

If you meant the Settings app, it's Light Theme on Z10 and Dark Theme on Q10 & Z30.
As per other member above, you can change BBM, Calendar, and Contacts apps to Dark Theme on Z10. Open each of those apps, swipe down from top of screen, and select Settings. Search the options there for the toggle to Dark Theme.

So running my Z10 with the lowest setting of brightness, isn't saving me battery because it has LCD screen?

Brightness settings have an effect, display color doesn't

Lowering brightness does save power. But with the lcd screen, the dark theme does NOT save power.
