    For some reason its not giving me a notification sound i have to go to the app of facebook to be able to see if i have message... but i do get notifications for text messages or emails... and i already set it up with the sound and its not working

    Just check you haven't got "Notifications" disabled.

    Swipe down from a "home" screen and check "Notifications" is NOT enabled.

    I have my options like that with vibrate aswells n its not working i have to log in to facebook to be able to see my messages... so basically i dont know when ever i get a message until i log in

    Go to your accounts in settings, select your Facebook account . Ensure you enabled sync notifications and messages like this
