    Can I download an app that will let me open the text messages I have backed up on my computer before restoring them to my phone? What app can open my text messages on my computer so I can print it?

    There's no app to read the BB10 backup. You can backup in airplane mode, restore the old backup, copy the text chat and save to the SD card, then restore current backup and turn your radios back on.
