[CrackBerry Question]

my Z10 seems to have locked itself. I have never set a password. It started yesterday when the phone wouldnt connect to my cars hands free. The phone worked fine apart from that then after using it for 30 minutes this morning it just kept asking for a password! I have tried 1234 and my usual password that I use for other things but still no luck. The password countdown to 10 doesnt seem to be working either. It is stuck on 6

Have you tried a "hard reset": hold down both volume keys until "Blackberry" appears on the screen? (Will not work for model 100-1).

You need to type in "blackberry" before being able to try more passwords.

What Yass says. If it does ask, the idea is to be sure your keyboard isn't set for all caps or somehow messed up. However, if you are not getting this request, try the reset. If you are... little hard to understand how you could forget a password you've been regularly using.
