    I noticed that when I take a pic and send it to someone via email etc. That the file size of the pic is almost 2mb per picture. Why is the pic file so big?

    I don't have an answer for your question about downsizing the picture file, I haven't seen any feature for that with the default OS. But I can tell you about why the file size is so large. The Z10 has a 8 megapixel camera in the back. A megapixel is basically 1 million pixels. Basically, the camera captures a lot of info to add to the picture file hence why the original picture size might be very large.
