I decided to install 10.2.1 yesterday. everything seems to have worked well. But when I started up the phone again, the blue "welcome to blackberry" appears , then I cant get pass the wifi screen. I tried to enter the pass for my home wifi, which is wep. I typed my pass in, but the connect button wont appear. my pass is like XXXXX# , but the pass had to be at least 8 letters for the button to appear. I didn't know what to do so I randomly typed 8 letters. and now when I hit connect it stops on checking internet connection. it doesn't say I have the wrong pass , and it doesn't let me change the pass.
Is there any fix to this?
btw my sim card doesn't have data, so that screen is constantly running too

Check saved connections and delete the saved profile for your network.

no, this is in the setup screen. there are no saved profiles...

Well it will need either a data connection through mobile or wifi to continue with the setup. Either change the WEP pw to 8 characters, which is the standard minimum, or activate data on the sim card.

Do you have MAC filtering enabled on the router? Have you checked the security logs on the router itself to see if the BB is hitting the router?

Snap needs to be sideloaded via Chrome PB manager or DPBB, then you can use it to grab apk's.

I think only the first one takes time to process. Then afterwards, it's much faster

You need to load an android app from BBW first, or else it won't process at all
