I just wanted to know how bright you keep your lovely z10 all the time.

What is your preferred brightness level in Display settings??

Tell us here the reason also about any specific level with a screenshot if you wish.

I can't handle bright so I keep it at 50%.

It's bright enough for anything but direct sun light (in which case the screen is almost useless even at 100%).

Now on 10.2.1 so using cooler whites.

Well, who said you guys from the south know better? I've seen two Z10s here in Salvador already and I know of a major company that deployed them.

If you turn off 'swipe to wake' gesture I bet you're gonna save about 10-20% more like I did.

1/3 here. Anything past 40% and it's too bright. Only ever go high in really bright sunshine but since I live in England, it doesn't see to go high very often.

All the way up to 100%. I hate having to squint to see my display. Yes my battery life suffers, I do get a solid 8 hours of battery life, so for me thats plenty, and I'm never too far from a charger to worry about it anyways. I use my device like I want to, not how my battery life dictates it.

I set the brightness of my BlackBerry Z10 *,5 q5 to the minimum which is sufficient for almost every application. Battery life is a factor and I am able to easily read the screen at this brightness setting.

Mine lasts 12-20 hours with little to moderate use. Around 10 with moderate use, around 6 with heavy use and 2 hours if I play Iron man 3.



The battery is far from great, but if you learn how to tame it, it should last you enough!

Man, I run my brightness at about 3 quarters. It never made much difference in battery life. That warmth thing I leave in the middle.

Do realize that you're setting a base level and the ambient sensor adjusts from there. Unlike most so-called "smartphones" the ambient light sensor in these phones works exceedingly well and transparently; it's one of the "little things" that BlackBerry got exactly right in terms of strength of execution -- and it shows.

Haha! First time I read someone wants to make it as dim as possible. Don't u find it hard to read in the dark?
