    I have continually been told throughout time Blackberrys can't be traced..they have there own hub...but have never actually had it confirmed...how does it work and is it really true?! Please anyone?!

    We know better.

    But it depends on what you mean by "traced". And which features.

    Your carrier always knows where your phone is, what calls you've made, what sites you browse to (at least while on the mobile network - wi-fi browsing is followed by the ISP providing that service) - especially since you are using the phone on their network.

    There's actually a lot more to it and many layers involved. Some things aren't really tracked by the carrier. Some things are. Emails, likely aren't. But SMS/MMS texts most certainly are.
