Just looking at your usage, it's pretty minimal, so I think you can get a Z10 run for about more or less than 13 hours.

Z10 battery life is very poor, especially when I compare it to other phones I have had. I can barely get 8 hours from the battery. I always carry a spare and a charging cord. The BlackBerry charger bundle works very well. All that being said, the Z10 seems to have better battery life than the Samsungs and iphones.

If battery life is an issue, I suggest a Q10. If you really must go all touchscreen, go with the Z30. I cannot recommend the Z10, and it's the first cell phone I have ever had that I could not recommend.

Yours might be, mine certainly isn't. My Z10 lasts all day with pretty regular use with just a standard battery. Horses/Courses

You sound like you use your phone about the rate I used to use mine. In my office all day on wifi for probably 90% of the day I used to get from unplugging at 8am to plugging back in at 11pm with 20% battery left. I do have a spare battery, wasn't using it much at that time.

Since then, same time frame I can get to 6pm and them I am less than 10% and I do a battery swap. Those are the days when I play Candy Crush and Bejeweled Blitz. Also have started tracking inventory using BBM lists, so on a busy day, my screen is on a lot.

Last week I returned from a two week vacation and my desk was buried in paper. No time to waste on my phone. Was very surprised at 6pm to still have 64% battery left.

Anyway, if I had the funds I would buy a Z30. My sister's works just fine. She doesn't miss any calls and I have yet to see her need to charge her phone mid day.

Get the z30. No point in getting a z10 if you value battery life, especially if you're coming from an s5

I went ahead and got the Z10. One of my local Verizon stores had one in stock. So, if the software works out and does what I need it to, I will upgrade to the Z30 later. Thanks everyone for your comments.
