    Do a sim reset. Turn off, take out sim and turn on. Lave for five minutes than turn off and put sim back in.

    Lower case letters like g, h, e or gsm basically mean its stuck on Voice Only. You need it to be uppercase like GPRS, H, E

    This happens to me too, but I don't reboot. I just open Mobile Network Settings and toggle the "Data Services" button off for 5 secs and then back on. For me, it's nothing wrong with my phone, but the carrier.
