Hello I have few tips I found out on saving battery life.

    1. Having apps opens. If it's more than 3 it eats battery like a fat kid in a free buffet.

    2. Blue tooth. And if you are using it through car sync or audio streaming.

    3. Hotspot or tethering. It drains batter.

    4. having vibrate with your notification sounds. And key press sounds.

5.screen brightness. Having wifi on while not being on wifi as the phone is in constant search or open wifi locations, like a crackhead looking for empty abandoned homes.

That's all that I've noticed and has changed my battery life drastically

    .
A lot of battery-saving tips mention this. What I'd like to know is does this apply when it IS connected. Does it drain just as fast as when its searching for a connection?

Nope. Because when there is a connection it is connected. Does not need more resources to search for an open connection.

When you are not on wifi, turn off your LTE. Data is fast enough without it, and it kills the battery.

This is all on other threads but:
Turn off 'Gestures while locked' so you need to hit the top button to see the lock screen but the phone is not constantly keeping the screen alive when not in use.

I have lte off all the time. Wifi at home. Wifi at work. 3g fine otherwise

Turn phone off for 2 days a week, make sure it's charged 100% before doing so.

This saves battery power for 6 days a month, wow that's 72 days a year, wow that's 144 hrs a month, wow that's 1728 hours per year.

That is one heck of a battery saving tip for all those who are whining, I get 14-19hrs a day on my z10.
