    BBZ10 - all my photos disappeared with the exception of a few I took this past week -- pretty much everything from 2014 is gone. I never deleted any, they were all there yesterday when I searched for one. I've rebooted, removed and reinserted the battery - media card - SIM card - to no avail. I don't know what to do, can they be retrieved??

    and what sometimes happens after a reboot, the sd card or (media card) take some time to sync back. so give it an hour or so at least after a reboot and then check again.

    Pop the SD card into a PC to see if they have been removed.

    Run the backup that you (hopefully) created when you updated the OS. That should bring back anything that was lost from your device memory.

    As for the SD card, I wouldn't think the update would muck with that. BlackBerry's method of doing things keeps changes to the OS and the media card very separate. Changing anything on the phone (including wiping it) have zero effect on the SD card.

    I had the same problem last August when I was visiting barcelona. All of my pictures were gone.

    I had a similar problem. The pictures were still there, but the thumbnails for the pictures did not show up in the albums. I thought I had lost mine too.

    When you open your photo album, try touching on a part of the screen that is black to see if it opens a picture.

    I'm not sure if this is the same problem but I hope it helps.

    Have you tried looking for them via Link?

    You may be able to see them from the PC and copy them to your hard drive if you can.
