Guys,

I have an STL 100 1 model running on 10.2.0.424 which of course is the latest official update available for it. I loved Z10.. and i chose to stick with BlackBerry earlier I was using curve. I was pretty much getting used to z10 that's when I updated it to my more recent official release. And I started facing problems.. first prob is phone switching off at around 30 percent without a warning and the next is the music player volume shoots up when I am on ear phone and when I decline a call or hang up the call. Its really annoying that the phone switching off without a warning.. i am from India and we don't have a more recent update than this.. can somebody pls help me sort this out

Finally i have installed my first leak.. everything seems to be fine.. yet to restore the backup, am just waiting for my battery to get drained below 15 percent to ensure everything is fine.

The best feature of this release is the battery percent display.. just swipe up from the main menu.... there you go it shows ur battery percentage.. and the an other best prominent change is the quick settings.. which pops down when u swipe down from the menu screen.. this awesome.. am loving it. Thanks guys..

Gosh !!! Not again... my phone turned off again... even when it had 24 percent battery :'( someone please help

remove your battery for an hour when it Goes off then insert and charge it till 100 then remove... don't keep it with charger when battery full... it took 2:15 hour to complete charging

Have had that problem for a while when I was on the last official release and .1055 and I use stl-1 as well.
It was a really pain for me. Getting me all worked up all the time. Then .1259 came out and I was going to install that based on comments from people about how good it was but I ended up installing the latest .1925 and I can tell u I have no problems with it anymore and now the OS has settled, I get a very good battery life. Check out my screenshots.

Note: I did not restore any backup except from my old blackberry protect device which still had some info I needed.

I pulled the battery, kept it for an hour.. and i charged it.. now my battery wont charge beyond 86 %.... i really love my z10.. i just want this to be resolved.... please help

Try this.
Take out ur battery, plug the phone into the socket with the original charger and without the battery.
Leave for 1 minute, then put in ur battery without removing the charger. Do this at least 2 times everyday for the next two days. Ur battery should become normal again.
Note: got this in the forums and I tried it when I was in .1055. It worked for me.

As i have been reading, this should be a stl100-1 problem, but in my case, i also used a non original charger. So it was like yours. dead at 25 %.
What i did was:
Use my phone until it was dead and left it all night without the battery, and charged when i woke up. Right now. On 1259 leak i can get to 0% for about 5 mins
And the battery life is so good i have not been below 20% in the past 2 days

Only BlackBerry Support is the solution. Get a replacement. The problem you are facing is a manufacturing defect.
