Hi, kindly help me in any advice how to conserve battery in my BlackBerry Z10. I have only Facebook, wechat, tweeter installed. However still drains a lot. Roughly 12hrs.

The main things you can do are turn your display brightness down and shorten the display time out settings, but honestly.. 12 hours is very good!

Try turning wifi off when you don't need it.

Turn off Location Settings under settings if you aren't using it.

Turning off sending Diagnostics" made a noticeable difference for me, at least 5% over a day, as best I was able to determine. Settings > Security and Privacy > Diagnostics. Then adjust sync periods for calendars, contacts, read/unread email status -- if that won't be inconvenient. Turn WiFi and Bluetooth off when not in use. Every little tweak helps.

If you have multiple emails like me and can't be bothered to have them all syncing constantly, you can prioritize them and change the sync to manual with push deactivated. Additionally, minimizing the amount of active frames open helps.

    what OS are you on?

if you are on 10.1, think about installing a leaked 10.2 OS.

Turn off mobile network data when in a poor signal area. Saves me *lots* of juice. Text msgs and voice calls still get through. This saves more power than just turning off wifi.

If you go to Settings -> Accounts, this lists all the emails you have set up with your device. If you click on an email account and scroll to the bottom, it either lists the Sync Interval in a drop down menu (for my external account and Gmail) which you can change to 'Manual', or for my Outlook account, you have to click on 'Advanced' and then the Sync Interval option shows up. Push is disabled in a similar fashion except there is a toggle switch right above Sync Interval.
    Hope this helps.

Yap I'm in 10.1. Will try that later. Did it help when you upgrade the OS?

I installed 10.2.0.1791 and after usage about 15 hours, battery level is still 70-80% of moderate use, always using H+ (3G in setting)

I think it is the best leak I've ever used my Z10 for about 6-7 months.

Everything is running very smooth, but I don't use android runtime.

The best solution I've found so far is to go into Network Connections > Mobile Network > Network Selection Mode and choose Manual instead of automatic. Made a huge difference for me, especially when I'm at work where the signal is negligible to non existant.

Yup, I get less because I'm heavy use and have 5 active sync email addresses syncing constantly.
For the days that I actually pass the entire day using my z10, I make it to bed, that's 17 hours in total.

I've been using 10.2 for a few weeks. On Sunday I did a lot of travelling and charged my phone around 2pm. While returning by car in the evening the phone got quite hot and drained very quickly, maybe 70% of charge lost. Normally I get a couple of days on a charge but I put that down to maybe the WiFi trying to connect but still you need to be able to depend on your phone in an emergency and it should not drain that quickly.

On Tuesday (yesterday) I started with a full charge, back to my regular routine of from home to office and again the battery drained completely in the middle of the work day. Again, hotter than normal and it drained so far that it powered off.

No idea what caused this out of the blue. I turned off NFC yesterday and charged up overnight and so far no problems today, 94% after 5 hours.
