I use BlackBerry Z10 and battery indicator show error. It shutdown randomly around 50% and don't charge fully to 100% but the battery life is still OK. I tried to reload OS and wipe all included wipe OS but this issue still happening. I read that this problem can be fixed by using battery until it drain 0% and device turn off and charge till it full but nothing happens. Sorry for my English. Someone please help me. Thanks for your help.

Could you post a screenshot of the error? Press and hold both the volume up and down buttons simultaneously to save a screen shot.

The battery is off sync with the percent in setting. I don't know why and how to fix it

What model and OS do you have? if it's an older one, it's probably just a bug that will be fixed if you update to the newest.

Charge fully. Once the battery percentage stops increasing and the lightning bolt over the battery indicator has gone then unplug the charging plug and insert immediately again. Wait for yellow lightning bolt to disappear. Check battery percentage. Keep doing this till it shows one hundred percent. You will have to unplug and plug in again about three or four times till it shows one hundred percent. Common fault with the Z10.

    Do you have an STL-100?
If so, this is a known bug with that particular device.
Some have mentioned the best way to kinda recalibrate things is to take the battery out of your phone for an hour, and then replace. You may have to do it once a week or something like that.

You need to wait till it shuts down then take out the sim card, sd card an battery and wait for half and hour, then charge it till its full and voila! You have now a calibrated battery.
