    Last night for the first time I used my HDMI out to play some music videos via you tube. The HDMI cord I was using is the one that came with my SONY Handycam. After a video was done, I would back out of it and select another. Everytime I went to a new video I had to unplug the cord and then plug it back in to get the sound back. Has anyone else experienced this? or could it be the cord?

    I have not had this problem. Perhaps it's the cord, HDMI cords CAN be finicky. Do you have any other HDMI devices pulled in to your TV? This can muck things up as well.

    BTW I expanded your title a bit to try to draw some help here, plus make it easier to find on future searches with others having similar issues.

    No such issues here.
    Sunday afternoon our cable was out, so I hooked up via 20ft HMDI and played 4 episodes of a TV show in a row.
