We won't know any of those details until the launch event. Luckily CrackBerry will be there . Also, Telus should have a pre order option in place soon, keep checking TELUSMobility.com

I've heard similar information, yet nothing confirmed. So I guess it's just a wait and see right now.

am i seeing things correctly? pre-ordering something that is not yet formally available or released?

ie. making an order based on leaks and rumors?

firstly i don't know what rogers is thinking and secondly i don't know how is it people are biting. this is one weird attention grabbing tactic.

Yes, but I noticed in the disclaimer that we might not receive the device until after the in-store sales. Specifically, it states we will receive the smartphone within 2 weeks of its availability to the public through the carrier.

Not sure if they will :s. They stopped doing that with the iPhone, so I don't think they will be doing it. Wishful thinking? For your sake I hope they do.

Leaks and rumours? BB10 is coming on Jan 30 - no question about it! RIM has been working closely with carriers for some time now. Where have you been?

They are doing this to know how many units to order from RIM. Not sure why this doesnt make sense to you, its very common for new device launches.

rogers website lets me fill out my detaild and choose pick up locations, but it doesnt do anything when i click the final "reserve" button. ive tried about a hundrrd time over the last two days!!!! Anyone else having this issue???

They are doing this to know how many units to order from RIM. Not sure why this doesnt make sense to you, its very common for new device launches.

I suspect January 30th might have a bit of an effect on the number of preorders though...
