Looks like O2 - UK have sold me an unlocked phone, have I understood what I'm looking at (that phone is not locked to O2)?

Nope its Locked you would see Three Things Showing unlocked if it was unlocked.

Plus did you not read where it states you can unlock the device with the MEP code provided by the original seller of the device?

And do you not see Unlock Device Button there?

Please read all the other threads on this. The phone is not unlocked. As you can see, it shows " UNLOCK NETWORK". You need to unlock that in odder to unlock the phone.

It just means that once you unlock the phone, the phone will work on any carrier.

O2 are happy to give you the code if you have a contract usually, just send them an email
