I didn't know you had your finger on the pulse of future customers....why would anyone wait for the 10.3 rollout? It's been HERE for months!

Had it forever on my unbranded Z10 but will not install because it will pooch t-mo wifi-calling. Maybe you have a branded phone and are waiting for your carrier to roll out their version?

I know, but here,I would care to obtain it in a non destructive manner! { Scrannel} Perhaps check a compatible wi-fi app for your version?

I believe the idea is to put out a build of 10.3.2.

I'd be scared that it's rushing, but the early betas have proved that development is going along well.

Future customers had already left in droves several years ago.

Oh, and, BTW, most of your regular ol' normal customers wouldn't know a thing about what OS it's running, much less whether or not the carriers are up to date with the latest that BlackBerry has released.

Just the few hundred of us AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon customers that visit this forum on a regular basis.

(An exaggeration, of course... I don't know how many CB members are on U.S. carriers)

I haven't done a destructive update to either a leak, or an official update on another carrier for the last three updates I did. Four if you count when my carrier finally rolled the last one.

You can get a perfectly working, non destructive update from the forums. Or you can wait for your carrier to get it to you when they are good and ready.

Wifi-calling in a league of it own. Updating zero priority for me.

Why would BlackBerry say anything, they released it months ago, it's your network that's the problem!

I just picked up a second z10, I recently got a passport and then accidently wreaked my first z10....passport obviously has been updated buy the z10 is on 10.2, what is the downside to installing 10.3 on z10? wifi calling issue? Thanks everyone.

I don't have Wi-Fi call, so I can't comment on that. But I haven't had any issues with the later leaks, or any of the officially released versions.

But you have to remember, the phone is only part of the network. The carriers maintain the bulk of the important part. They are not immune to tinkering with how their networks behave as a way of differentiation to attract customers. That is one of the reasons to they have final say on what software can run on phones on their network, at least officially. That and they also provide front line support

From what I have read on the T-Mo forum it will kill wifi-calling. Which is why I have not installed mine.
