Hey guys,

I hope you all doing well... Yesterday I connected my phone to the PC to load some music, while doing that I thought; Can I transfer the movies on my PlayBook to the Z10? The movies on the PlayBook were purchased through the video store. I first attempted to copy the movie to the PC, but the file was not readable by the Media Player. All of this was done using BlackBerry Link, which is a huge step forward from Desktop Manager btw.

Have any of you guys done this before?

I don't think it would work because they have DRM. Basically, BB or any other company from where you can buy content digitally, doesn't want you to pirate the stuff, so they lock to your devices only.

Yes, you did purchase the content, but you purchased the content for that device. Like said above, it's DRM.

When a company puts DRM on a work that I purchase, and their servers go down or their company goes away, they steal from me.

This is crazy! I should be able to do whatever I want with something that I paid for.
