So I live in Canada and my bb10 when I check for updates its not doing anything crackberry app had a update been over today's and my phone is still showing that the old version is the new one I even tried deleting and reinstalling it but it still shows the older version ugh

You have to be a bit patient. BB has often rolled out update availability in stages.

Plus update notification has been very glitchy so far with BB World for BB10.

Occasionally hit Check for Updates in My World or just open the app's BB World listing, as you have been, and you'll see it sooner than later.
Just do your sanity a favour and don't check every 5 minutes!
