Hi,
I'm in India but got my Z10 from Dubai. Now I've got a few location based apps as well as a navigation app (Map my India) installed, but none of them is working...in fact Map my India would just shut down with a message "your device is not authorized to use this application) so this morning I called them up.
They said that BlackBerry releases the device PINS to them and those devices ONLY can access gps as well as navigation apps and that since I got my device from abroad I'd need to get in touch with BlackBerry to resolve the issue of not being able to use Location or Navigation based apps...that blows!

Any help/suggestions/workarounds to this issue??

Thanks for the suggestion mate, but the problem is not the app. The GPS on the device doesnt work, cant get a gps lock even if im in googlemaps on the browser.
