I am having a problem with my Gmail.

When I get a email that doesn't seem important I delete it without reading and then when I go online to read it its not in the inbox or I Read it, then mark unread then delete it Then go online later on to read it it's not in the inbox as well. If I go to all mail or search for it it shows up

Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it

    Myver is Z10STL100-3/10.1.0.4537

That's not a problem, that's sync. The deleted emails will be in your trash.

If you want to sync so that deletions go to trash instead of archive, I think there's a setting within Gmail (i.e. login through the browser) you can change.
If you want to "delete on handheld only", I'm afraid you can't.

I want the emails to stay in the inbox when I delete off the device. So I can see it later on the computer

Sorry, you can't do that - inbox on your phone is synchronized to the inbox you'll see on the computer. If you don't want emails cluttering the inbox on your phone but you still want to read them, you can always file to a different folder.

In other words make Gmail copy them to a new folder and only sync that new folder?

I was thinking that you could make a new folder, called Read Later (or whatever) and instead of deleting from the phone, just file the message to Read Later. But if you absolutely want those emails in Inbox, the method you posted above seems like it could work, but I haven't tested it.

When you select Delete on BlackBerry 10, it Archives the mail on GMail.

What about turning off sync, since gmail has push feature?

If you turn of sync, than you will get your mail from Google, but if you delete or archive mail on your Web browser it won't reflect on your phone. Same thing, if you delete mail on your phone, it won't be Archived on GMail. Set it for 4 hours so the two are are kept in sync. If you rarely view mail on your desktop, set it to 24 hours. Won't consume much battery life.
