    OK I made a Gmail account now I know how to add it to my phone. But I like to know how to sync my contacts from my phone to my Gmail account that I just made.

    Only way I know how is to hold your finger down on the contact so that the flyout menu appears. Then select "copy to", you should see your gmail account in the list.

    go to settings>accounts>email. from there you can set it up it will ask if you want to sync mail, calendar and contacts

    OK I added my Gmail account as followed. Went to setting accounts then added Gmail. But did not see and options to sync contacts

    if you did it right it show what you want to sync email calender and contacts click ok or next and just give it some time they should show up if you have contacts in google

    long press any contact till the pop up comes out press select more, click on the contacts you want to transfer then copy to gmail

    They are selected to copy to gmail but nothing in my gmail.
