I have two phones on Rogers, both up to date OS. Never had a random reboot since launch day. Must be something with the US carriers?

Updated OP. It seems like older OS's (whether Verizon or not) have a large number of reboots, which seems to be addressed in the newer releases:

Percentage of users experiencing reboots (Check "last edit" time at the end of post to see last update):

    Verizon: 77%
    Non-Verizon (newer OS): 29%
    Non-Verizon (older OS): 71%

Only one reboot on my up to date T-Mo Z10. I have a couple Android apps sideloaded, but I'm pretty sure I hadn't loaded them yet when the reboot happened. It happened overnight and not while I was using the phone.

I had a few random reboots -- and camera freezing (if related) -- probably before the latest update to 10.0.10.88. I'm with AT&T.

I haven't yet tested this after latest update but whenever the reboots occurred before, my Notifications were reset to 'Normal' and my saved Wi-Fi profiles were all lost except for AT&T Wi-Fi. What's up with that?

copy/pasting (and modifying) from other threads like this:

I am on the Verizon and their "latest" software.
I saw it happen in front of me once; I forget what was going on or what I was doing. It also rebooted early two mornings in a row while I was sleeping, with only Battery Guru running in an active frame once, and once with nothing was running at all; it was just sitting on the charger. I charge with an OEM Playbook charger.

It may have restarted at other times without me noticing. I am now getting in to the habit of looking at the last boot time randomly.

I have loaded very little software (I just bought it on the 30th) and am purposely not side loading anything so far. I have downloaded the CB app, Battery Guru, BB Bridge (wow, yippee...) and Google Talk (which I haven't signed in to yet).

As for memory cards: I use a "SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card with Adapter (SDSDQU-064G-AFFP-A)". Sorry for so much detail; copy/paste from my Amazon history. Wonder if anyone else has this particular card. I can't see why the card should matter, as I am never accessing it at the time. But it seems to be asked about.

update: Rebooted again while I was asleep; it has happened every night (early morning) just sitting charging. This time no SD card, and using the charger that came in the box. No programs were running. As always it was on WiFi.
edit again 40 min later: I powered it down after the above update, put my sd card back in and it booted up. I went to shower and came back, went to whatismyip.com to make sure I was on wireless and using my ISP (I am paranoid since I can't shut LTE off), I was reporting coming from my ISP properly. I opened the wireless settings page anyway, saw and my WAP was disabled (but it was connected), I hit "saved" and it still showed disabled and jut whatever networks around me (I do not recall their states; I may not have made it to the saved list), then it locked up, and rebooted. My saved profiles are still there after a reboot, and it's acting normally -- for now. Sorry about the wall of text; I am need to go to work and don't have time to clean up my post.

*Arrows indicate trend since last update
*Stats seem to indicate that newer OS versions have addressed the majority of rebooting issues.
*Keep in mind that users with issues are more likely to be on these forums and vote, so this is not meant to represent a real world prevalence figure!

Out of curiosity, Do you have any other issues with the phone? I'm trying to see if there are any common factors here since some users appear to be completely unaffected while others are having severe issues.

I have had my z10 for about 1 month now
    model STL100-3
    Software release:10.0.10.85
    OS version 10.0.10.672
    Build ID: 445581
    No SD
Normal connection Rogers 4g - LTE not avail my area yet and wifi
I would not know about the problem except it happened to me once when I actually saw it reboot and then after reading posts, I have been monitoring by checking the boot time on a regular basis, and realize that it happens quite often. I have tried a variety of things, but have not been able to prevent this reboot from happening. Again if I was not monitoring it, I would not be aware of the full extent of the problem.
I have systematically deleted all apps that I have installed, and am now at only stock apps. I have not done any side loading.
I am connected to wifi most of the time as I spend a lot of time at home and in my office where wifi is readily available.
I have had no app crashes, no freezing or nothing abnormal. Again if I had not been monitoring I would not even realize that this issue was taking place.
My phone usually sits on my desk at home or in the office, I use a leather pocket case for when I am on the move.
I am now going to operate without wifi to see if this has anything to do with the problem.
If the problem persists, I will reset to factory and start fresh (trying to avoid doing this)
I am really not wanting to return my z10 for warranty since I have read that it is happening even with replaced units, and overall I am very happy with my Z10

So I reset to factory settings on Mar 31/11:30 am...since all the steps above did not solve anything. restarted self on Apr. 2/ 2:02 am...was few minutes after I plugged in to charge for the night....so at this point I have nothing obvious causing this....one thing I did notice was that after reboot I have approx. 1.2 g system memory free being reported...as I use the phone during the course of the day, system memory goes down systematically (I have seen it as low as the low 800mb)..even though no apps open, the system memory does not get recovered. I read in a post somewhere that the OS holds on to some of the memory instead of releasing it similar to what windows 8 does on PC....I am wondering if the memory not being released, has something to do with the random restarts.
As I posted on a previous thread, it would be nice to hear from someone from BB or CB on what the general opinion of the experts is regarding this issue..By the way I turned on the Diagnostics feature hoping that information will be fed to BB support re this issue....Overall everything on my Z10 has been great, no other issues of concern, but this is starting to bother me since I really don't know if it is a hardware problem.

No, it doesn't the amount of free RAM is useless on modern OS's nowadays, because the system tries to optimize the user experience, not a useless number. Anyways, good post. I wonder if more people are unaware that they even have this issue...

    Reboots 2-3 times/day
It seems that attempting to download larger apps from BB World will reliably cause a reboot.

    No sideloaded apps.

    No SD card.

Terrific! I've had a terrific line of communication open with a senior support specialist at BB. We spoke this morning for close to 40 minutes. This KB article doesn't apply to the current VZ OS, but he provided it regardless just so I could be made aware that THEY'RE aware.

I did a stress test when I first got the phone. 8 active frames running including streaming blue tooth audio, and 8 browser tabs open. Still had 250mb free memory. Phone ran fine, no lag or issues at all.
