I downloaded a few android ports and the gestures worked perfectly. swipe from bottom to left for back button, and from top down for menu button. Then I installed Pageonce and K9 email. Gestures worked fine on both at first until I restarted my phone. Now, I cant get the swiping down for menu to work on any android ports, but the swiping from bottom left works fine. Even after uninstalling, rebooting, then re-installing apps, still no menu.

has anyone else had this problem? anyone know how I can fix this?

Maybe you have to wipe the phone....

Did that. Still doesn't work. Now I can't get any ports to work at all. They just crash as soon as opened. Anyone have any ideas?

I had issues at first. I had to do a complete wipe and did NOT restore from a backup, and that fixed it.

I also had the issues with gestures working half the time, and after I wiped they would also crash completely.

Complete wipe and not restoring it fixed it for me. (but I don't use any android apps now, all native, even from the store)

If u don't restore, how do u get all your contacts and other organizer data back to your phone?

Just restore the contacts with link don't restore the apps. The problem comes from side loaded apps that have been badly ported, they crash the emulator. Use only ports tested by the users on crackberry site and you should no longer have any issues.

so, I reinstalled the OS and restored some of the data. Now I have the bar at the bottom of the android ported apps and the swipe left works as the back button function, but still no menu when I swipe down.

Also, does anyone know how to get the bar at the bottom to show if you accidentally hide it? I don't see it in any settings and I cant figure out how to get it to show again. Wife's phone having the same issue now
